Get ready to sniff the sea air from the vantage point of Mundesley, a beautiful coastal village that’s renowned for its Victorian charm and sparkling beach. Stylish and perfectly suited to families of four accompanied by one beloved hound, you’ll soon be embracing a seaside holiday with all the traditional trimmings. Picture yourselves building sandcastles, crabbing and rock pooling followed by ice creams or a proper meal in one of the dog-friendly eateries. One popular pub in Cromer even has a ‘doggy bar’ complete with ‘pawsecco’ and bottled ‘doggy beer’ for your pampered pooch.

Studded on the end of a pretty row of terraced properties, the cottage is stylish and comfortable with contemporary decor and ample spots for Rover to snooze. Kick back and relax in the lounge and delve into buttery popcorn or play board games at leisure. The elegant kitchen/diner is handily equipped for all those delicious meals you’ve envisaged, and the enclosed garden is top dog for dining alfresco. Upstairs, the bathroom is a welcome sight for the weary, and both bedrooms are crisply dressed and ready for slumber.

Grab the leads and wander along the promenade, enjoying colourful beach huts, shops and cafes, and out of season, your pup is welcome to play on the golden sandy beach. Further along the coastline are dog-friendly beaches such as beautiful East Runton Beach 10 miles away, famed for its geological wonders including fossils, and the secret Trimingham Beach is a sheer treat once you find it. Located 2 miles away, it is worth it simply to enjoy the scenic walk from Mundesley with a picnic in tow.

We have stayed at Winns several times so can highly recommend. Beautifully clean, comfortable cottage. Perfectly situated for all the surrounding beaches that our rescue dog Isla enjoys. Would also suggest Felbrigg Hall for long walks, especially in the autumn. It is so nice to just relax in a such a peaceful place.
