South Lodge was the perfect spot for us to explore the area and everything we needed was provided. The owners were quick to reply to messages and helpful with suggestions for walks and access. We loved being able to open the door and just walk with the dogs along the stream.

Lovely stay in very comfortable Lodge which felt like a home from home. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Weather was a bit chilly when we stayed but we were really toasty. Very peaceful and ideal for walking.

This house is lovely and in a beautiful location. My parents used to own it in the 1990s. I stayed for nostalgia, but the renovations are excellent. Lovely, clean, spacious, very well decorated lodge and not too isolated. All on one level with only a step into and out of the property.
