Stunning location, away from it all. Beautiful grounds where our dogs could run free. Great little cottage, beautifully furnished with every little detail thought of. A proper home from home. Living room & bedroom upstairs, bathroom & kitchen on ground floor. Stairs are quite steep but have handrails on both sides. We would love to stay again.

Lots of pheasants running around the lawns and other birds visiting the gardens. Can't recommend this place enough. We've booked our return already next month. Thanks Jan Hide

A lovely overall stay. Beautiful surroundings, exceptionally clean. Lovely bedding and luxurious towels. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Quite a walk (lovely on a fine day) into Langholm but too dark to walk along the lines at night, having said that, Anderson's taxi service excellent. Would revisit, but ensure we have a cottage with an open fire.
