Despite being beside a busy enough road, the house and gardens are peaceful. In booking for the less populated location, one does need to appreciate just how far away shops the house is. This just needed a bit more planning to ensure that we had enough of the essentials. Wifi had been flagged as perhaps intermittent but we found it absolutely fine Read more(including being able to do a Zoom meeting with full camera access during the stay). Hide

The location is along the main road from fort Williams to Oban. Inside you dont hear the noise and you cannot see the traffic. Outside you can hear it loudly. The property feels a bit neglected. Toilet, heating a carpets on the floor? It is really self catering but we have had many other places on your journey in Scotland were there was some tea orRead more coffee, a few small bottles of water, etc. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The setting is beautiful. Go for a walk on the island of Lismore. Hide

Linnhe Apartment is absolutely superb - a wonderful location, surrounded by the most amazing gardens full of trees and wildflowers and birdsong and ponds - we could not have been more content. The apartment was beautifully decorated and furnished, and there was everything you could need in the kitchen. Okay, so the sun shone brightly every day and Read morethe sunsets over the mountains beyond the garden were utterly superb, but I think we would have enjoyed it just as much in the rain! Hide

A delightful apartment for our October week. Well furnished, well equipped and cosy. A lovely venue for coast and hill walking in the immediate vicinity and for visits to Oban, Colonsay (a morning sail there and back) and Lismore. Good restaurants within easy distance.

Great location for exploring the area, fantastic for dogs as there is a great forest walk just across the road. Not really any suitable area in the property to keep wet dogs as fully carpeted from the door in beige colour??? Bed very uncomfortable with very thin duvet and pillows
