Comfort is further assured in the king-size bedroom, the twin bedroom or the generous family bathroom only a few paw prints apart. The enclosed garden and surrounding grounds offer an instant flavour of the area's rugged beauty, with fabulous views and opportunities for al fresco dining.

The renovated barn is in a stunningly magical spot, surrounded by nature. We loved the wild wood up the track, perfect for spotting hares, so many different birds, beautiful trees and many other nature spots. The barn is very comfy.

Joe was really friendly and helpful, the location is amazing and it really is a beautifull cottage. The cottage would benefit from a little TLC but the location out weighs this. Driveway is long and bumpy and would suggest stopping for food on the way in, shops and cafes are only 15 mins away. We had a fabulous time & will return.

Brilliant cottage with stunning views. Joe was a very friendly host and we had everything we needed for our stay. We loved our trip. Amazing access to cycling and hiking routes right on your doorstep. The drive up is a challenge if you're not used to gravel tracks.

The unmade road to the property is a mile long. It is full of potholes and very uneaven in places. This information should be given before booking. A few things need fixing. Some sockets and lamps didn't work. The windows need a good clean. Only one saucepan lid. One door didn't lock on arrival but was later fixed.
