Property code: OC-86493

Gather your large group of 16 and celebrate in style, choosing this marvellous property as your luxurious base on the cusp of Ogmore-by-Sea. Your two waggy-tailed friends will adore the wealth of walking trails nearby, and the coast has lots of curiosities to tempt humans and hounds alike. Weary from your adventures, relax by the fire and toast to a fabulous holiday.

Lavish and impressive with oodles of period features, this delightful farmhouse has retained much of its charm and character beneath its stone exterior. Seek out the best snoozing spots in the two lounge areas, both with plush seating and one with a roaring wood burner. There are quite a few staircases so mind your step, letting Fido hang out with the kids in the bunk bedroom that has an Xbox or leave him snoring on the rug of the marvellous bedroom downstairs. There are six more bedrooms to discover, all sharing a variety of bathrooms, shower rooms or private en-suites, so there will be somewhere for everyone to rest their head. However you choose to unwind, the heart of the home is certainly the sleek kitchen/diner which is primed for a feast, best enjoyed around the table or al fresco under the pergola with sea views.

Pad across the lawn with views of the Bristol Channel on the horizon, slipping through the garden gate to follow the heritage coastal walk. There’s an on-site coffee shop and bar next door for a quick caffeine fix before you start your adventures, and the sandy shores of Dunraven Bay are a mere 1 mile away. Southerndown Beach has some dog restrictions between May and September, but the cliffs around Witches Point are fascinating thanks to the castle ruins and old Iron Age hill fort that also stands in ruin.

This property is beautiful and in a great location. The communication beforehand was good. Inside the property - The property is really unique amd had a nice blend of traditional stone visuals and modern features. The Double bedrooms are all nice, the bunk beds were also comfortable, whilst one is linked to a double bedroom. It has a lovely rRead moreoom with gas fire and another room for watching TV and we loved both. Outside - The property is in a great location, right on the coast with great walks either side, perfect for walkers and dogs. One thing to note is that the property grounds is shared with another small property that is also available for rent. You share the car park and grounds. The Cafe is also directly next to the property and we had staff members walking past the property to access the Cafe, which wasnt very nice and we could hear staff in the Cafe from the property kitchen which was also a little strange. Overall this is a lovely coastal property at a good price and all of our party had a great time. Hide

A lovely place to stay. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need. Beds are super comfy. Lots of room both inside and out. Board games and outdoor games to use. Stunning views. The cafe next door was a great surprise and breakfast there was tasty. I could go on but book for yourselves and enjoy

The property is in a great location for walks along the coast and uninterupted views of the channel. The living rooms are comfortable, as are the beds in the larger bedrooms. There is a good range cooker if you are self catering for a group. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great family weekend with 13 adults. It's a stunning location with very flexible accommodation, although meal times were 'cosy' as we were all adults. V comfortable bedrooms and modern ensuites within the character of the cottage. Note there is no communal bathroom upstairs - so everyone has to use the ensuites.

Stunning cliff top location. Glorious views. Memorable sunsets. Great access to beaches. Comfortable beds. Loved the cafe next door. Appreciated not having to cook every meal time. The manager, Andrea, was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Brilliant place to stay, good communication, great for large families as so many bedrooms and multiple lounge areas. Great to have the cafe on site and they do a great roast dinner too. Lovely views and short journey to beaches would recommend!

Our stay at the farmhouse was absolutely magical! The space was cozy, warm, and perfectly suited for our group of 13. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, making it easy for us to cater for ourselves. The owner was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout, which made our experience even more seamless. Lovely situation. Easy walk or cycle to beaches. Very well equipped in kitchen. Nice to have two sitting rooms, quieter for us older folk! The outside area is great but you do have people coming through from cafe and other holiday let. Did not cause us a problem.
