This spacious family home enjoys a rural setting on a working farm, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Gower Peninsula. The property welcomes six guests and two furry chums, making it ideal for adventure-loving families and groups of friends. The long-distance Wales Coast Path passes close to the farm, and for shopping and eating out, Mumbles is just 6.5 miles away.

The former farm workers’ cottage has been transformed into a welcoming holiday retreat, with gorgeous original features and a collection of creature comforts. Leave sandy shoes and dog leads in the hallway, before heading through to the inviting lounge, with its striking beamed ceiling and crackling open fire. This is the perfect spot for a cosy movie night on a chilly winter’s night. Alternatively, take yourself off to the snug to curl up in an armchair with your favourite book. The country-style kitchen/diner has ample space for the hounds to set up camp, along with a large dining table and everything needed to cater for the group. A handy utility room completes the ground floor. Upstairs, three characterful bedrooms – one with an en-suite shower room – await, as well as a family bathroom. Outside, you’ll find a vast, enclosed garden with a lawn for Rover and Fido to play on and furniture for al fresco dining. Private parking is available for two cars.

Three Cliffs Bay (1.5 miles) is a stunning, paw-friendly beach that rarely gets busy, even in the height of summer. From the beach, your waggy-tailed pals can explore the atmospheric ruins of Pennard Castle and burn off steam scampering through the Pennard Burrows. From the property, you can also walk to the Neolithic site of King Arthur’s Stone Dolmen (4.5 miles), where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views across the entire peninsula.
