Steam in the wood-fired hot tub, toast by the wood burner, and take in the spectacular views over Talgarth Common to the Black Mountains with your four-legged friend by your side. This gorgeous three-bedroom cottage, which sleeps seven guests, is quite simply hound heaven. Set in glorious gardens, the characterful hideaway is 2 miles from Tregoyd and 6 miles from Hay-on-Wye and has a myriad of exciting walking routes to follow right from the doorstep.

Hang dog leads and outerwear in the hall then amble through and step down into the beautiful, beamed lounge. Stoke up the wood burner in here on winter evenings so your contented canine can doze in its cosy warmth. Find your way to the impressive kitchen/diner, with its picture window framing the view, to feed your furry chum and rustle up a tasty meal for everyone else to enjoy against the beautiful backdrop. A king-size bedroom and shower room are also downstairs. Another king-size, and bunk bedroom with a single bed above a double, are on the first floor, together with the family bathroom. While away fine days out in the beautiful garden. Soak in the hot tub, challenge each other to pool and table tennis in the games room and sit out around the fire pit with your happy hound by your side. Supervise children and pets at all times while outside.

Find many great dog walks and beauty spots in your Bannau Brycheiniog / Brecon Beacons surroundings. Head 4 miles to Glasbury to hire canoes on the River Wye - your pet is welcome to join you if he likes the water. Had an absolutely fantastic time at this cottage. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind and take in the magnificent scenery. Perfect for circular walks without having to drive anywhere and you can chill in the hot tub afterwards. Querky layout worked perfectly for us with the big kitchen table being the main gathering spot for food, cards and Read moredominoes! Fiercely battled table tennis, table football and darts rounded off and excellent stay. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again Hide

The cottage is very well equipped with everything you would need and the entire cottage feels like home within minutes of arrival. If you love walking you can be on the hills in a few minutes walk up the lane. If you love wildlife you can watch red kites in the valley whilst sitting in the hot tub. It is a great base for the Brecons and is incredibRead morely peaceful. Hay is about 15 minutes away if you can tear yourself away from the view. If we could award 10 stars we would! Hide
