Full of divine countryside charm, this cottage is a majestic home for all to enjoy. Whether two or four-legged, curl up and enjoy the warmth of not one, but two log burners or prolong summer evenings in the fenced garden and feel the calming presence of the neighbouring mountains. An exciting abundance of walks and tail-chasing spots lie nearby, not to mention the awe-inspiring views from Pen y Fan, 23 miles from your door.

Relax by the log burner and sink into one of many cosy armchairs in the first living room. The mix of textures in this space creates a homely ambience which invites you to switch off and unwind in comfort. The dining furniture adds an element of grandeur and provides a stylish place to dine communally with friends and family. A second log burner warms the drawing room where a pool table awaits a dose of healthy competition; celebrate your win or drown your sorrows in the private wood-fired hot tub as canine companions sniff out the night’s scents. After a day spent roaming the local wilderness, rustle up tasty treats in the farmhouse-style kitchen before dozing off in one of the quirky bedrooms, two of which are downstairs.

Scampering, stick chasing and sniffing can be enjoyed in the enclosed garden, as can a spot of splashing in the babbling brook or private waterfall! For more adventurous outdoor escapes, step into the Brecon Beacons National Park and follow well-trodden footpaths or explore off the beaten track. 5 miles away, the picturesque town of Hay-on-Wye offers fantastic places to enjoy a bite to eat, many of which welcome waggy-tailed guests.

Great house, really rural, no great views being down in the valley but some fantastic walks soon getting you to some nice views.

Beautiful property located in stunning countryside. The lanes leading to the property are very narrow and steep in places! Our dogs loved the freedom of being able to run around the big back garden and paddle in the stream. All of the boys loved playing pool in the living area too. We had a fabulous stay, thank you!

This is our second time visiting and the location is 11 out of 10. It is so peaceful and idyllic with no light pollution and just sounds of sheep in the field. The property is gorgeous! My advice to anyone staying is to not use the postcode but to use the What 3 word app which will take you straight there. Thankyou .

It was a wonderful, idyllic stay spent with friends and family. Appreciated the Christmas tree and decor. It was great to star gaze in the hot tub, and the surrounding walks were lovely.

Our 9th visit to our fav cottage. New owners? Positive - Haybluff is a delightful cottage with real character. The spacing and games make it great for all ages. Negative- do not stain the towels. Recycle correctly or be charged. These little notices spoilt it for us 8 years without the need for them. It is not a cheap place to stay and for extra waRead morermth you have to pay for wood. It cost us 30 to to do this the hot tub eats it up. Hide
