This fantastic property, situated in the village of Mattersey close to the Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire border, is perfect for you and your entire pack! Sleeping six across three peaceful bedrooms and with up to five dogs welcome, this single-level holiday home is a haven that has something to keep everyone busy. Spend sociable evenings in the amazing games room that’s shared with the other properties on site, where you can play snooker, a board game or simply curl up with a book.

The holiday let, which sits within a courtyard of properties, is spacious and comfortable. Exposed beams and tasteful downlighting are dotted throughout, giving the entire property a bright and airy feel. Spend evenings in the large open-plan living area, snuggled up on the sofas around the TV while the pups snooze by your feet, or sizzle up a BBQ in the enclosed area of the shared garden and dine alfresco. Kids will love playing on the climbing frame while you watch them and take in the wonderful views. The bedrooms are tranquil places to retire to; relax among neutral tones and little pops of colour to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the next day.

Pull on your walking boots and head to Idle Valley Nature Reserve (4.5 miles) for walkies on one of the four walking trails on this 375-hectare site. Sandall Beat Wood (14.5 miles) is ideal for a picnic and sits just outside Doncaster where you’ll find plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. If you’re visiting between March and November, take the whole family to the Trolleybus Museum (19.5 miles) where children will love seeing all the different vehicles. The grounds of Conisbrough Castle (19 miles) are fascinating; head up to the top while someone waits at the bottom with the pups.

Lovely large space for 6 people and 4 dogs. Lovely area, for views and walks, plenty to do round about the area. Had a lovely time, friendly owners sorted a wee issue very quickly. Friendly donkeys in field nearby.

'Swift' was a great place to stay. It was very well equipped and very comfortable. We especially liked the enclosed dog area where we could let our dog off lead to have a good run. The location was rural and very quiet but we didn't need to travel far to get to places of interest. We will definitely be returning in the future as we have family nearRead more by. Hide
