Enjoying a wonderfully secluded rural position in the beautiful Elan Valley, this relaxing lodge makes a fantastic holiday getaway for families and couples seeking a tranquil retreat in a beautiful part of Mid Wales. Offering far-reaching country views, the property is one of a pair of lodges set on a working farm, and provides welcoming accommodation for up to four guests. With plenty of space for a pair of four-legged friends as well, this inviting property features a large garden, a bubbling hot tub and gorgeous views out towards the Cambrian Mountains.

French doors lead you directly into the airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. This light-filled room features a Smart TV with plenty of seating, a rustic wooden dining table and a stylish kitchen area. Exploring this stylish single-storey property further, you will find a refreshing shower room and two spacious bedrooms: a cosy king-size room and a charming double room, each with wonderful countryside views. Outside, the fully enclosed garden wraps right around the lodge, with a patio, picnic bench, BBQ and plenty of space for your canine pals to run about. There’s also a sheltered hot tub offering views over the valley.

Surrounded by glorious countryside, the lodge offers miles of breathtaking walks for you and your furry pals to enjoy. Dogs are welcome at local attractions including Llysdinam Gardens, 4 miles south, and at Cors y Llyn National Nature Reserve a mile further on. The cheerful town of Llandrindod Wells is 6.5 miles away, with a range of great pubs and restaurants, and is home to the dog-friendly National Cycle Museum and the charming Lake Park. Heading west 11 miles you will find the magnificent Garreg-ddu Reservoir, offering breathtaking walks and glorious scenery.

The cabin was absolutely spotless. It had everything needed to enjoy our week there. Comfortable and warm and a more than generous welcome pack for when we arrived. The views are absolutely priceless and we would never get bored waking up to that scenery everyday. Our two dogs loved the fully enclosed garden and sat peacefully watching the cows andRead more their calves in the field. It really is a piece of paradise and we cannot emphasise enough how beautiful this place is. The owners really take pride in their holiday lets because we cannot fault it in anyway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lodge was immaculately clean and very comfortable, full of natural light with large picture windows that looked out on a beautiful valley. For us the lodge was ideally situated just one mile from the main road between Llandrindod Wells and the Elan Valley, our favourite walking areas. There werent really any walkRead mores direct from the lodge, but we loved sitting outside taking in the glorious view. The welcome pack was generous and much appreciated as was the provision of a towel and treats for our dog. (That fresh crusty loaf was delicious!) Would I recommend to a friend - yes, definitely. Just back from a lovely stay in The Cwm. The views are spectacular and the cabin is just perfect. Peaceful with just the sounds of nature. Very clean and well equipped. Comfy bed and sofas and lovely and warm. The hot tub is an added luxury which we very much enjoyed ! Definitely Dog friendly with throws provided (I had taken my own anyway) , Read moredoggy towels, dishes and treats ! Most importantly a truly well fenced garden so no worries letting the dogs play or chill in the Sun. ( If you like sitting out too there is a picnic table and bench but maybe take a couple of folding garden chairs for relaxing in - we forgot ours !) The lodge was fantastic so lovely so much time has been put into ensuring guests have everything they need, even down to dog treats bowls and a towel! The hot-tub has a real highlight private with a great view. We loved our time here as did our dog as the outside was fully enclosed so she had the run of the place! We cant wait to come back!

Had a great stay at Cwm despite the weather. The view was spectacular and good location as not too far from local town and shops. The welcome package was very appreciated, we had soup with that lovely loaf on the rainy day. The hot tub was great while watching the rain! The covers etc for Marley was great! Would definitely return.

Our third visit and couldn't have asked for anything more. A week with those views and peace and quiet was just what we needed. The cabin has everything you could think of needing and is so warm and cosy; we didn't want to come home!

Yet another fantastic stay at Cwm Cilgee (our 6th stay in 3 years). Owners Sarah & Tony were fantastic hosts as usual. Spacious open plan property with a wonderful view of the valley. This was our 5th stay at this property in the past 2 years & it never disappoints. The location offers the most wonderful view and you could not wish more than what the cabin provides. In Sarah & Tom you could not not wish for more attentive owners. Already looking forward to our next holiday here that's already booked for October.

The location was fantastic, the view you have is on another level. The fact you're a mile or so from the main road means it's so peaceful. The property was well kept, spacious and well equipped. Would highly recommend. My wife and I took our 2 dogs for a week and wouldn't hesitate in returning.

This holiday property is one of the best that weve stayed it. It was clean, comfortable and every attention to detail was made. First and foremost, the view from this cottage is out of this world. If you want the views of Wales from your door, this is it! The cottage itself was so lovely! The cabins are wonderful, they have are set in a really peaceful location overlooking the valley with the sheep and cows munching away in the fields. The cabins are lovely, they have everything that you need and are comfortable and warm. Fantastic views from the lodge, you have to see it with your own eyes to appreciate the scenery. The lodge is clean and comfortable and plenty of space for 4 adults to stay. The hot tub is a great addition to relax in the evenings, after a day of exploring.
