Located in a tranquil hillside spot in the Elan Valley, this inviting lodge is a fabulous holiday retreat for couples and families seeking a secluded holiday home in a gorgeous part of the Mid Wales countryside. With beautiful far-reaching views, this delightful cabin is one of a pair of lodges on a working farm, and features a large garden, hot tub and views towards the Cambrian Mountains. Offering cheerful accommodation for four guests, this getaway also has plenty of room for two canine friends eager to discover this stunning area.

Entering the lodge via French doors, you will find the spacious, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with fantastic views of the valley. This light-filled room has a lovely lounge area with a Smart TV, comfortable seating, a wooden dining table and a stylishly designed kitchen area. The lodge also offers an invigorating bathroom and two relaxing bedrooms: a delightful king-size room and a pretty double room, each offering wonderful country scenery. Going outside, a fully enclosed garden wraps around the lodge, with a patio, outdoor furniture, BBQ and plenty of space for your four-legged pals to run about. Finally, a sheltered hot tub offers magnificent views over the valley.

This stylish lodge is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with miles of spellbinding walks for you and your canine companions to embark on. Dogs are welcome to accompany you at Llysdinam Gardens, 4 miles south, and at Cors y Llyn National Nature Reserve just a mile further on. The bustling town of Llandrindod Wells is 6.5 miles away, with a variety of fantastic places to eat and drink, and is home to the pet-friendly National Cycle Museum and the delightful Lake Park. Heading 11 miles to the west, the stunning Garreg-ddu Reservoir offers lovely walks and glorious scenery.

We stayed in The Cwtch for 2 nights. Everything about it was perfect - location, accommodation, facilities and the most amazing view. We couldnt have asked for anymore and will 100% be returning.

Just returned from a lovely weekend at the Cabin. The views were amazing, loved watching the sunset.So tranquil and peaceful. The cabin is immaculate, everything you need in the kitchen ,we cooked every evening.welcome pack of bread,butter,eggs,orange juice and Welsh cakes, all delicious. We spent an absolutely blissful week staying here! Even though there was a lot of options for days out walking and seeing sights we hardly felt a need to leave the property for how beautiful and comfortable it was! Cottage was excellent with everything you will ever need , fantastic views over the valley, very rural so very quiet and dark in the winter months, I believe summer would have been better for a break here. Overall highly recommended

Wonderful relaxing holiday. The views are stunning and the hot tub was fantastic. The place was very clean and comfortable.. A nice welcoming pack which we enjoyed. Being able to take our 2 dogs was a bonus . Would highly recommend.

A fabulous stay in fabulous accommodation. We loved waking up to the amazing view and watching the cows and sheep graze in the fields. The hot tub was a hit, especially after a long walk. Thank you for the welcome pack - we loved all the treats! We will definitely be back

The cabin is well equipped and in amazing location. Big Tesco is only 10 min drive (for someone who is staying longer and thinks about self catering most of time - the fridge is small, with an ice box, so trips to shop might be required), loads of trails available nearby. It is fully secured, which was perfect with the dog. We had an amazing time, Read moreand could not ask for better place to stay in. Delightful views, and we loved watching both the sheep (and the addition of lambs each day!) and the Red Kites which were captivating. Extremely comfortable lodge and the completely secure garden was a big plus for us and the dogs. Beds and settees were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for those who like to self-cater. Great respoRead morensiveness from the owners on the one query we raised. We had an amazing stay in this lovely lodge, the views were absolutely stunning and being able to view it from the bedroom, living area, kitchen and hot tub was a bonus. It was so cosy with nearly everything you could want. We came into some bread and butter, eggs, milk and juice which was all delicious! Fantastic location. Amazing views, lovely and quiet but with easy access to get around. Large Tesco not far along with decent takeaways if you don't want to cook. Highly recommended.

This was our 2nd visit and we are already planning our 3rd. The location is stunning and the cabins have everything you could want or need for a comfortable stay. The sky on a clear night is as stunning as the view over the land of a daytime. The host are friendly, check to make sure everything is OK but without being intrusive. Had a fantastic week at this beautiful lodge , big plus was the fully enclosed garden which allowed us to have the patio doors open all week without worrying about the dog escaping , highlight for us was to see the cows and their calves come up to the fence to greet us in the morning Would definitely return

The cabin was first class. Spacious and modern. View from the sitting room and main bedroom was overlooking green fields and a valley. Garden area was plenty big enough to give the dogs a run with a ball off their lead. Thank you again for a lovely relaxing weekend.
