Alternatively, treat your hounds to a romp around Blenheim Palace (14.5 miles). Although dogs are not allowed within the palace grounds or pleasure gardens, the parkland surrounding Blenheim Palace is beautiful, free to visit and utterly dog friendly. Or stretch your legs on the Bernwood Butterfly Trail (22 miles). This 2-mile hike through ancient meadows and hedgerows is famous for the quantity and variety of its butterfly residents.
