Lovely clean spacious cottage very quiet area which we needed after running our own business at home, internet at night seemed a bit sketchy so had to use hotspot twice. Friendly welcoming owner with a welcome pack of tea, coffee and cake. A small hut with supplies on site too. We are used to driving quite far when we stay in the Uk and this wasRead more no exception; we drove to Newcastle, Edinburgh, and many other places that were only about an hour away. Nice to have a soak in the hot tub, which was pleasant and secluded. for once no complaints. We always bring our blankets for the sofas just because he likes to sit on them at home but he spent most of his time on his cooling mat on the floor. Nice to have such a lovely space thats dog friendly without looking like its had lots of dogs in it. Very affordable a week in Aug for 560 plus a refundable deposit of 150 (haven't yet enquired how to get this back though?) A weekend in Devon most times of the year costs us atleast 780 most times of the year. Hide

Everything was perfect! The cottage is very well equipped for everything you will ever need, spacious and warm. Jayne was very helpful, friendly and answered any questions we had before even asking them. We took our dog, Nova, there are plenty of walks and a great area right out outside the cottage for her. The hot tub was fantastic, especially witRead moreh how cold it was during our stay. The little binder full of suggested walks is amazing, as one of the days was very foggy so we stayed close by. As there are some days it may be difficult to go further afield, there are plenty of board games and DVD's available to borrow which we made good use of. Over all it was ace and very relaxing!
