Alternatively, the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (7.5 miles) and Kennall Vale Nature Reserve (12 miles) are great days out. You will find another beautiful beach at Praa Sands, only a few miles away. Children will love Paradise Park in the nearby beachside town of Hayle, which also has a fabulous golden sandy beach, most of which is dog friendly all year round.
