Take up to two beloved canine companions to this gorgeous, detached split-level barn on a working farm, an ideal choice for a relaxing and sociable holiday for families or friends. There is something for everyone at nearby Godolphin House (3.5 miles), where your hounds can enjoy on-lead sniffs around the 500 acres of grounds and woodland.

A superior experience awaits you in this characterful property that will impress you from the moment you step inside. From the bright and welcoming entrance hall, step down into the light and spacious open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge. Admire the charming, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and large bi-fold doors that flood the property with natural light and lead out to the garden. This stylish area is truly the most inviting place to gather with family or friends, while the contemporary kitchen has everything you need to make preparing meals a breeze. Enjoy playing cards at the dining table or sit back and relax in the comfortable armchairs and play music or watch your favourite movies on the Smart TV while your hounds rest at your feet. From the hallway, you have access to four bedrooms – a king-size bedroom with doors to the rear garden, a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and two twin bedrooms – and a stylish family bathroom. From the living room, access the enclosed lawned garden bordered by farmland. Enjoy the outdoor seating and BBQ with pretty views and dine alfresco when the weather is fine. The property is part of a small complex.

Let your pups lead you on great Cornish outings. In St Ives (14 miles), you can enjoy freshly caught seafood and four-legged friends can enjoy Bamaluz Beach and Lambeth Walk all year round. Lizard Point (16 miles) and Kennall Vale Nature Reserve (12 miles) are also good choices for dog walking. The lovely Praa Sands beach is only  few miles away and has a great café. Children will love the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (7.5 miles) or Paradise Park in the nearby beachside town of Hayle, which also has a fabulous golden sandy beach, most of which is dog friendly all year round.

We had a perfect stay at Butter Barn, it was all we wanted and more and set in a great location which was within easy reach of great beaches and towns. I would definitely recommend Butter Barn to family and friends. Thank you!

The barn is absolutely stunning and extremely well equipped. The welcome treats were a lovely surprise, even the dogs were included! The beds were so comfortable and the setting is absolutely stunning. We hope to return!

Butter Barn is home from home! A fabulous barn in a great location. Everything is thought of very carefully, Sarah & Andrew are on site and on hand if anything needed. We had a super holiday! Would recommend highly. Will definitely be back.

Stunning holiday home, great location. All amenities there, we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay for all the family. Plenty parking, lovely hot showers, and plenty of space throughout. the accommodation. Sarah & Andrew were most welcoming as always.

This was the best accommodation that we have stayed in while in the UK and we have traveled a great deal around the country. It was spacious, well decorated, had a great view of the farm, was in easy access of major attractions and the hosts were superb.

We stayed as a family ( mum and dad and three adult children and partners) I can honestly say it was one of if not the best holiday home we have stayed in. Everything we needed was provided and to a very high standard. It was very very clean. And very comfortable The location was good for exploring the far south of Cornwall. We went to the Royal CoRead morernwall show, paddleboarding on the Helford river. A show at the Minack theatre. Beaches at Sennen and Marazion. Hiking around St Ives and Healys Hide

We have a lovely stay at Butter Barn. Sarah and Andrew were very welcoming, the cottage was excellent we had the wow factor right from opening the front door. We had a lovely stay at the Butter Barn. The property was spacious, excellently presented with everything you could wish for. 10 minutes to Helston/ Porthleven, 15 to Praa, 20 to Hayle so a great location to explore. The hosts are lovely and always available if needed. Would highly recommend!!
