Head one way for a short walk to a natural sulphur spring or go the other way for a pleasant 0.5-mile stroll into the pretty village of Gainford. If you fancy a day out, you’re only a short drive from some amazing places. Discover the impressive Raby Castle (6 miles), one of the best-preserved medieval castles in the country, or visit the incredible Bowes Museum (8 miles).
