This cosy cottage in the heart of Cornwall welcomes two human guests and three canine companions. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dog walks, with the traffic-free Camel Trail on your doorstep and the remote landscape of Bodmin Moor just 3 miles away. North Cornwall highlights, such as Port Isaac and Padstow, are also within 15 miles. After a day of adventure, snuggle up by the wood burner or sip a sundowner in your private garden.
The holiday let is full of personality with gorgeous original features. The lounge/diner has a plump sofa and a wood burner where you and the pups can toast your toes after a long walk. There’s also a cute table for sharing romantic dinners. The stylish kitchen, with stunning exposed beams, has everything you need to produce tasty meals and light snacks. At the end of the day, retreat to the super-king-size bedroom (can be made up as a twin on request) for a good night’s rest. Completing the property is a stylish shower room. Outside, a lovely garden awaits. The area is laid to lawn – perfect for your four-pawed pals – and is fully enclosed. There’s also a picnic bench and BBQ.
Heading east, you’ll soon reach Bodmin Moor (3 miles). This dramatic landscape is a paradise for four-legged explorers, with lots of new sniffs, tracks, and trails to investigate. You’ll find plenty to see and do in and around Bodmin (9 miles). Enjoy a ride on the paw-friendly steam train, climb to the top of Bodmin Beacon or get lost in the vast parklands at Lanhydrock House. If you fancy a day at the coast, head to Port Isaac (7 miles). Wander through its narrow streets, marvelling at the tiny fishermen’s cottages, before getting a bite to eat in one of the dog-welcoming pubs.
