This beautifully restored former barn has ultra-flexible accommodation and a pet-positive approach so a couple or two friends and their entire canine family can have holiday fun together.
One of five converted barns, this versatile single-storey holiday home goes the extra mile to make every guest feel at home. A striking tiled floor links the contemporary kitchen, where there’s every self-catering essential, to a spacious lounge/diner which has welcoming sofas and a wood burner. In the light and airy wet room nearby there’s a double-ended bath and large shower area. A choice of sleeping options is available: by advance arrangement the super-king-size bed can be made up as two full-size singles or, if you prefer two separate sleeping spaces, there’s a quality sofa bed in the lounge which could be called into use. Up to three dogs are welcome to stay here (more may be permitted by prior arrangement) and they’ll love the large, enclosed private garden to the rear where the slate patio has outdoor furniture and a BBQ, and steps lead up to a lawn. To the front of the property, an open courtyard includes a covered area where guests can store beach gear.
The property is on a farm at the centre of a triangle formed by the pretty villages of St Tudy, Blisland and St Breward – each is within 2 miles and has a village store and pub. Holiday here and you are well-placed for walks on Bodmin Moor, the South West Coast Path, and an endless choice of gorgeous beaches; foodie-favourite Padstow is 16 miles away, while the traditional fishing village of Port Isaac –¬ home to the Doc Martin TV series – is less than 10 miles.
