Get set for tail-wagging adventures in the Cornish countryside when you stay at this welcoming cottage, where there’s room for friends or families, plus three canine companions. Run on the beach, hike the coast path and explore beautiful woodlands with your pups, before heading home for a relaxed evening on your private deck as you watch the sun set.
Arranged all on one level, this appealing hideaway has high, vaulted ceilings and original beams that provide plenty of atmosphere. The L-shaped living area combines comfortable seating with a TV for laid-back viewing as your hounds snooze in their beds. The neat kitchen includes a microwave, slow cooker and dishwasher for convenience, and there’s a dining table with room for four to linger over meals. The two bedrooms are designed for restful nights after days in the fresh air, offering beautiful wooden furniture set against whitewashed walls. They share a family shower room. The unenclosed deck features a dining set for al fresco meals in the sunshine. Beyond it, a shared lawn offers the opportunity for walking your four-pawed pals on the lead. The site also has a games room and 36 acres of grounds, and provides parking for one car in a guest car park.
Set on a private estate where there are eight similar properties, the cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is just 2 miles from Crackington Haven, where the unspoilt beach welcomes dogs from September to mid-May, with access before 10am and after 6pm in the high season. If you’re up for a challenge, the coast path here has strenuous walks with dramatic views, while the magical St Nectans Glen offers the chance of an on-lead woodland walk, 9 miles away. Hounds on leads are also welcome at the legendary Tintagel Castle, 11 miles away.
