Look forward to restful evenings spent relaxing with man’s best friend curled up by your side, staying in this marvellous country cottage on the Isle of Wight. The stone cottage hosts four guests and two dogs and is located on an estate with a handful of holiday cottages and a shared, large, enclosed lawn where two dogs are invited to run around and chase tennis balls to their heart’s content. Whilst rolling fields with plenty of livestock can be found close by, this lawn is perfect for pets to stretch their legs. Of course, your four-pawed pal will also get plenty of exercise exploring the surrounding footpaths and rural routes.
This property sets tails wagging as you step inside. Humans and dogs alike will feel instantly at home in the lovely lounge/kitchen/diner, an all-encompassing space of relaxation. Curl up in an inviting sofa or armchair with the Smart TV on, leaving Fido and Rover to gently doze off and dream of the wildlife they failed to catch on walkies just passed. Stairs lead up to two similarly welcoming bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, and finally, a family bathroom completes the first floor. Outside, there’s an abundance of lawn and patio space where children and pets can play whilst you fire up the BBQ or sip a drink sundown.
The impeccable beauty of the Isle of Wight National Landscape is right on your doorstep, with the coastal delights of Shepherds Chine Beach (6 miles) and Compton Beach (11 miles) within reach. Follow a section of the Isle of Wight Coast Path from Brighstone (8 miles) to Niton (4 miles), letting Fido lead the way and fetch plenty of sticks whilst you admire the coastal scenery. You can even take a guided fossil walk via the Dinosaur Expedition Centre (7 miles).
