Wander the bluebell woods with your faithful friend, then soak in the hot tub under the stars. This unique glamping experience offers one-bedroom yurt accommodation to two guests and their canine companion. Situated in West Hill, 2.5 miles from Ottery St Mary, it is surrounded by the magnificent Devon countryside and 7.5 miles from the South West Coast Path and the dog-friendly beach at Port Royal.
Enter your own fenced area and make your way over the yurt. Follow your furry friend up two steps to enter the stylish Mongolian-style retreat, with its round design and high ceiling. Light the wood burner in here to create a cosy ambience for your chum to curl up in after his busy day out. Unwind on the sofas as you chat, play games or read your books. Spend time out in the fresh air, cooking in the camp kitchen, where you have a four-ring gas hob, large cool box and wash basin. Then feed your four-legged friend out here and dine under the stars. You also have a private fridge in a shared barn. Grill supper on the BBQ instead, and afterwards toast marshmallows on the campfire. This lovely yurt also comes with a private shower and compost WC. The outside space has ample room for playing fetch with your energetic pal. Within the shared grounds, there is also a 3-acre bluebell wood, where you and your chum can follow leafy trails. The yurt comes with parking for two cars.
Venture 9.5 miles from the glamping site to find yourselves in the magnificent Blackdown Hills with their many exciting dog walks. Dartmoor National Park, with its beautiful stretches of moorland, is about 18 miles from the yurt and also makes a great day out for people and pets who love the great outdoors.
