If sandy paws are on your holiday wish-list then head to Looe (17 miles), where you can walk by the picturesque fishing harbour or pick up the South West Coast Path. Sitting in the shade of the stunning Tamar Bridge, Saltash (6 miles) is a must-see, while for contrast the famous naval city of Plymouth is just 11.5 miles away.
