For a couple or solo traveller holidaying with a dog in Derbyshire, this characterful barn conversion is a fantastic pick – especially if long walks and easy access to the Peak District (3 miles) are high on your list. You’ll be close to the lively market town of Matlock (1 mile), filled with dog-friendly cafes, shops and eateries for stopping before and after walks. Matlock Bath (2.5 miles) is another favourite, with riverside strolls, classic arcades and plenty of places to grab fish and chips.
