One of a trio of holiday properties on the farm, it’s light-filled, spacious and full of character, with a novel layout to suit all ages. The ground floor features an open-plan kitchen/dining room with beamed ceilings and a fully tiled floor which will keep your canine companion cool in summer and has underfloor heating when his paws need warming. Housing all the must-haves of home, the kitchen is complemented by a utility room that’s a perfect store for pet paraphernalia. There’s elbow space for all around the dining suite, plus a sofa where you can unwind with the dog at your feet; for an instant sniff of fresh air patio doors open direct onto the patio garden. A super king-size bedroom is just across the hall; with an additional single and the opportunity to convert the main bed into twins, this makes a versatile room for family or friends and is further enhanced by an en-suite shower room. Upstairs, the comfortable lounge boasts more exposed beams, a Smart TV and a Juliet balcony delivering lovely views across the countryside. The master bedroom features a zip-and-link super-king-size bed which can convert into two singles on request, plus its own Smart TV and en-suite shower room. A family bathroom completes the comfort, and if you need additional sleeping space the sofa in the lounge coverts into a double bed. There’s parking outside the property so you can unpack and explore at your own pace. Located 6 miles west of vibrant market town Axminster, there are leafy lanes for waggy-tailed walks, while 8 miles south Seaton has a beautiful harbour, pebbled beach and a fine selection of independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Follow the South West Coast Path to the pretty village of Beer (10.5 miles), or drive the same distance to historic Lyme Regis, famous for its 13th-century Cobb wall. Absolutely beautiful cottage in a great location for a short drive to lots of days out. We had a great week and were made to feel very welcome by the owners and the lovely Goldie and Kitty
