Tucked into the lush green hills of West Wales, this gorgeous former farmhouse offers a welcoming retreat for families, friends and their four-pawed companions. With its own hot tub and a shared games barn, it’s the perfect place to switch off and soak up the slower pace of countryside life with your loyal tail-wagger by your side.
Inside, the bright kitchen/diner is the heart of the home, with plenty of space for your group to come together. It’s a lovely social space with country-cottage styling and a charming farmhouse dining table. From here, a small hallway leads to a cosy lounge for unwinding after a long day of exploring. Sink into the sofas, pop on the Smart TV, and enjoy the glow of the coal-effect electric fire. There’s also a handy shower room on this floor. Upstairs, you’ll find a contemporary shower room and four bedrooms with valley views: two relaxing doubles, a twin, and a snug single. Outside, the fully enclosed garden is great for waggy-tailed wanderers to explore while you fire up the BBQ. Enjoy a dip in the private hot tub under the stars. Follow on-site farm walks and nature trails, or spend time in the games barn. Kids will love the play park and climbing wall, and there's even a clay pizza oven and al fresco dining area available to hire. Ample off-street parking is available.
Head to the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron Estate (5 miles) for a day of exploring manicured parkland or stretching paws through beautiful walled gardens. Or venture to New Quay (9.5 miles), a pretty harbour town where canine companions are welcome on much of the beach, and you might even spot dolphins dancing in the bay. For longer rambles, the Ceredigion Coast Path boasts cliffside views, fresh sea air, and plenty of exciting sniffs along the way.
