Exploring the ground floor of this charming house, the light and beautifully decorated open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features a cosy wood burner, a TV, comfortable seating, a sweet dining area and a sleek, fully equipped kitchen area with wonderful views over the river. Upstairs there's a stylish bathroom and two bedrooms: the pretty single room has a handy additional pull-out single bed, and the gorgeous king-size room has traditional arched windows and wood panelling. From the lounge, French doors lead onto the delightful riverside terrace which sits beneath a veranda, with ample seating and breathtaking views, perfect for relaxing with your pets in the evening. Off-road parking is available for two cars, with a shared pontoon allowing boats access onto the estuary.
Guests can book boats which can be delivered to the shared pontoon ahead of your stay. A ferry goes across to Fowey, which has a choice of fantastic dog-welcoming pubs, cafes and restaurants. Pets are also welcome throughout the year at the beautiful beaches at Par, Polridmouth and Lantic Bay, all within 6 miles.
