The idyllic fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay (3.5 miles) makes a lovely doggy day out. The sandy beach welcomes woofers all year and there’s a great range of paw-friendly pubs and cafes to refuel in. From here, you and the hound can follow the coast path into Whitby. Take time to explore the historic harbour here, before climbing the 199 Steps to explore Whitby Abbey and enjoy the magnificent views across the town. Just outside Whitby is Falling Foss Tea Garden (3.5 miles), where you and your furry friend can amble amongst the pretty woodland garden and admire the stunning waterfall.
