The stone farmhouse, which sits alongside two similar holiday homes, has been beautifully renovated to create a bright and contemporary retreat. Leave dog-walking attire in the porch, before stepping into the spacious kitchen/diner which is equipped with everything needed to prepare delicious holiday feasts for the group. Come together around the wooden dining table for memorable mealtimes together. This room has hard floors and is a good place to set up the dog bed. Moving through to the lounge, discover a tranquil space with an array of comfortable seating arranged around a TV and a cosy wood burner. In summer months, throw open the glass doors to let Fido amble in and out to the garden. Upstairs, three elegantly styled bedrooms await, all with their own TV and relaxing countryside views. One of the double bedrooms has an en-suite shower room and there is also a sleek family bathroom on this level. Outside, soak in the scenery from the sunny patio, where you’ll find a bistro set for sitting with a morning coffee or a glass of wine. There is allocated parking to the front of the property.
Journey into Whitby to explore its historic, cobbled streets and admire the stunning Gothic architecture. The town is teeming with cosy pubs and cute cafes, many of which welcome waggy-tailed visitors. Let Rover lead the way to the top of the iconic 199 Steps, which feature in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, before taking a stroll around the atmospheric ruins of Whitby Abbey. Whitby has several paw-friendly, sandy beaches and there are some magnificent coastal walks branching away from the town.
