With a multi-level garden boasting countryside views and a wood burner in the lounge, this contemporary cottage in northern Pembrokeshire is great for all seasons. Up to six guests and two canine companions can enjoy a stay in a riverside village near Cardigan Bay. Spend your time away exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, historical landmarks and Welsh seaside towns nearby.
Enter the property to find a lounge with wooden furnishings, grey and purple tones throughout and an exposed stone feature wall with a wood burner. Two plump sofas surround a Smart TV and look out through the wide window framing the hilltop views. Continue into the neutral-toned kitchen/diner with a central wooden table beside a fitted one-wall kitchen unit with grey countertops. There are three bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite bathroom, a double with an en-suite shower room and a twin room. Completing the interior is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer plus a separate WC. Outside, you’ll find an enclosed garden with a lawn and furniture on the raised decking. There is designated parking for two cars.
While staying in St Dogmaels, you’ll be within easy reach of the historic abbey ruins, Y Felin water mill and the Afon Teifi (a river less than 0.5 miles away). Dine out at one of the village pubs or pop to the neighbouring town of Cardigan (1.5 miles) for a wider selection of eateries and shops. Take your four-legged friends for a run around the dog-friendly Poppit Sands Beach (2 miles). Also in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is Ceibwr Beach, the historic Llech y Drybedd and Pwll y Wrach lake (all within 5.5 miles). Visit the seaside village of Aberporth (8.5 miles) or spend an afternoon walking around the medieval National Trust Cilgerran Castle (4 miles).
