This elegant home is enveloped by the rolling Carmarthenshire landscape and nestled in the pretty village of Llanarthney. Sleeping 12 guests across six bedrooms, this luxurious retreat is ideal for multigenerational family gatherings or an escape with old friends plus a couple of furry friends. Get tails wagging as you scoff samples and stock up on goodies at the vibrant weekly farmers’ market in Llanarthney (0.5 miles), before returning home for ball-chasing antics on the stretch of enclosed, grassy garden.

This striking property features a bright interior with clean lines and spacious social areas. Stepping into the hallway, slip off shoes then grab a fluffy towel to dry off any soggy paws. Venture in the lounge and stretch out on the sofas to blether over a tippled with Fido curled by your feet. Escape to the cosy snug to delve back into a holiday read or flick through the TV for some easy entertainment. Resident chefs will delight in flexing their culinary muscles in the large kitchen. Portion out a feast for your hounds then gather the pack for an evening of festivities. Upstairs, drink in sweeping views from the mezzanine level before turning in for the night. Find six beautifully styled bedrooms set across the first and second floors, arranged in various configurations to suit the whole group. When morning breaks, throw open the bi-fold doors and step into the enclosed garden. Perch on the patio to enjoy a breakfast spread while your curious canine bounds on the lawn.

Cultured pups can stroll through the National Botanic Garden of Wales (2.5 miles) and explore the landscaped parkland on dog-designated days. Sip coffee alongside the pup-loving residents of Carmarthen (10 miles) or delve into the rich local history with a tour of Dinefwr Castle (8.5 miles).

The house was beautiful and had a great space for all of us. Kitchen well equipped and furniture comfortable. Good options with the zip and link beds. Unfortunately this was let down by a soiled pair of pants in the eaves cupboard next to the bed in one of the rooms which made the room stink and made me wonder how thoroughly the rest of the propertRead morey had been cleaned. I sent an email about this on the first night and 2 weeks later no response or apology which is unacceptable. Hide

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. The house was beautiful and in such a lovely location. Spotlessly clean. Even with 11 people and two dogs in our party, it didnt feel at all crowded. A great base to explore the surrounding area.
