Surrounding the property are sandy beaches, the convenient amenities of Ravenglass village, and the tranquil landscape of the Lake District National Park.

As you enter the Pullman coach you’ll be stepping back in time: the bedrooms and lounge boast original wooden panelled walls with intricate detailing and large windows. Inside the lounge are plush velvet sofas, a wood burner-effect electric fire and a TV. The contemporary kitchen is decorated with stylish marble-effect surface-tops on the fitted units. Both bedrooms are elegant and well-presented, consisting of a double with an en-suite shower room and a twin room. Completing the interior is a family shower room. Walk along the seafront (within 1 mile) and head to the dog-friendly Drigg Sand Dunes and Beach nature reserve (5 miles). Elmira was a joy to stay in,it was clean and comfortable with everything you need. The ratty arms was a friendly pub and the inn at ravenglass served excellent food both a short walk away.It was lovely watching the trains from our window and a trip on one with a walk up the waterfall at the other end is a good day out.
