Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this inviting ground-floor apartment in the quaint village of St Issey. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms and welcoming two faithful friends, this is the perfect hideaway for small families or groups of friends who want to explore the beautiful North Cornwall coast with their pups in tow. Take your dogs for walkies in the peaceful St Issey Valley during the day; and in the evening come home and dine alfresco on the apartment’s patio area as the stars come out.
Step inside and you’ll find a light and bright open-plan living/kitchen/dining space with plenty of room where you can socialise with your loved ones. Take a moment to make yourself at home on the sofa as you take in the country views through the glass doors. When it’s time for dinner, make your way to the chic kitchen to prepare a mouth-watering meal for your nearest and dearest. Get everyone together to eat at the oak dining table, or head outside to the quaint patio and dine alfresco. After dinner, slip onto a sofa in the living area and crack open a bottle of something fizzy as your dogs sleep contentedly at your feet. There are two delightful bedrooms waiting for you at the end of the day – a cheerful double and a cute twin.
Tails will be wagging when you take your dogs for walkies at Porthcothan Bay (6 miles) – a beautiful sandy beach that’s dog-friendly all year round. At low tide this lovely beach merges with the small coves to the north and south. Alternatively venture to Little Petherick Creek (1.5 miles) - a tidal tributary of the River Camel - with your pups. Along the way you’ll find pretty meadows, enchanting woodlands and a quaint gothic church.
