Rest and reset with your favourite human and hound in this beautiful cottage in the Suffolk countryside. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dog walks, with routes branching away from the property along quiet country lanes and leafy footpaths. Suffolk’s spectacular coast is also just 7 miles away. In the evenings, pour yourself a glass of wine and snuggle up on the sofa, in the glow of the roaring wood burner.
The barn conversion is bursting with character and cleverly combines period features with contemporary design and decor. The property has a sociable, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with an impressive vaulted ceiling and cosy wood burner. Spend time watching the Smart TV/DVD or reading a book, with the pup curled at your feet, or whip up a romantic meal for two in the compact kitchen area, to enjoy together at the cute dining table. When it’s time to say goodnight, retire to the inviting double bedroom. A stylish shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, guests are welcome to use a shared patio for al fresco dining and also have access to a shared tennis court.
The seaside resort of Southwold is 10.5 miles away. Although the main beach has a seasonal restriction, just 0.5 miles along the coast is a beautiful, quiet beach that welcomes hounds all year. Four-pawed explorers are also welcome on the pier (on a lead) and along the promenade. The town has a great selection of paw-friendly cafes and restaurants. From here, you can hop on the foot/paw ferry to the quaint village of Walberswick, which has a fantastic woof-friendly beach and some gorgeous dog walks to explore. Dunwich Heath (9 miles) also makes a lovely doggy day out, with its network of picturesque tracks and trails and excellent wildlife watching opportunities.
