We stayed from the 2/8/2025 to the 8/8/2025. 3 adults and a teenage child. Bad point The cottage was lovely but very unloved needed a lot of repair. There was cobwebs everywhere in the cottage especially under the beds I also found old socks left from people before us. The larder was packed with all crockery you could think of but all needed cleaniRead moreng before you used it. No brush for outside area to brush up all the ferns off the trees so you walked them into the house. The den was great for the kids but the equipment downstairs was either broke or did not have all the pieces. Ceiling is too low to throw darts we had to tighten the screws in the football table to use it. The slats on one of the beds broke during our stay it was fixed very quickly but you could tell that the bed had previously been repaired many times. Good points it had everything we needed for the week, the washing machine an tumble dryer was a god send. There was loads of space for all the family. Jay was amazing gave such good advice on places to see and was very quick to fix the bed when it broke. Overall we loved our stay just a bit disappointed with the house. It was quite far away from anything and you will need a car to get anywhere. Hide

We had a week in Ball Cottage over the Easter break. Stunning weather meant that we were able to spend lots of time on nearby local walks and beaches. The cottage is so lovely - great living space for the family including a games room. I was very grateful for the multitude of crockery, glassware, pots and pans as we do a lot of cooking. Beds were vRead more comfortable and great to have a master en suite too. The courtyard garden was great for listening to the local birds and watching the bluetits nesting in the BT exchange box! We even mastered the espresso machine! Thanks for a great stay. Hide
