This characterful thatched cottage, nestled in the picturesque village of Hemblington, on the edge of a wood, is perfect for a small family or a couple seeking to explore the local area, the village itself has a great little shop and an award-winning Indian restaurant. The Norfolk Broads (2.5 miles), with a unique network of rivers and lakes, provide endless opportunities for boating, fishing, and other water activities, as well as lovely walks. Also close to RSPB Strumpshaw Fen (3 miles) and other local nature reserves. Wroxham (5.5 miles), often referred to as the Capital of the Broads, offers the Bure Valley railway – a great means of seeing the route to the market town of Aylsham. There is a wonderful local farm shop in the neighbouring village of Blofield (2.5 miles) if you’d rather stay local to home. The lovely Norfolk coastline is not far away, Winterton-on-Sea (15 miles) offers grassy dunes and a sandy beach for a long walk with the dog if coastal is what you desire. The historical city of Norwich is also close by, with its great eateries and local interesting shops in the Lanes.
