The charming village of Newton-by-the-Sea is 2.5 miles away, and has a couple of traditional village pubs. The Northumberland Coast Path passes through the village, offering breathtaking walking opportunities. There’s also a lovely walk to Newton Point, with views of the Farne Islands on a clear day. Four-pawed explorers will adore the wide, sandy beach, which welcomes woofers all year. A doggy day out to Bamburgh (7 miles) is a must during your stay. Sample delicious local produce in the independent eateries, walk on the white, pristine sand at the beach, and explore the grounds of the clifftop castle.
