You’ll have everything to hand in this well-equipped, single-storey property in the coastal village of Weybourne. Finished to a high standard, this modern bungalow works really well for a small family or a couple seeking peace and quiet in a rural idyll and a base to explore coastal North Norfolk. The wonderful, pebbly Weybourne Beach is dog-friendly and set within 0.5 miles of this cottage, so no need for the car, just a nice relaxing dog walk watching your canine chum go mutts on the shingle and in the sea.
The L-shaped living accommodation is open-plan, with the welcoming lounge area offering comfortable seating. In the corner, the dining area comfortably seats four at the modern table and chairs, which is great for catching up on the day’s events and planning the next. The galley kitchen flows from there, with every inch of space used to house all mod cons and plenty of room for your self-catering endeavours. Sleeping quarters comprise one pretty double bedroom and one room with bunks – a great adventure for any children. There’s a small private patio to the front, furnished for al fresco meals or drinks but you can also use the shared park gardens around this and the surrounding properties, complete with walks down to the beach.
Join your faithful pup for a dip in the sea if you’re feeling brave or maybe just explore the village and treat yourself to ice cream if that seems too strenuous. For sightseeing with a difference, hop aboard the Poppy Line, aka North Norfolk Railway, from the station just outside the village for a steam train ride. Trains run from Sheringham to Holt via Weybourne and, best of all, dogs are welcome for a small ‘Rover’ fare.
