This charming chalet has a fresh, contemporary design and a fabulous deck with comfortable furniture, great views and shared gardens. Walking distance to the beach and close to Cromer and Cley, it’s perfect for up to four people and a pup.

Arranged all on one level, this bright, airy and peaceful bolthole is set among trees on an unmade road. It has been stylishly designed for relaxation, with a well-designed kitchen tucked away to the side of the light-filled lounge/diner. This is a great space in which humans and hounds can gather and bask in the warmth of the electric fire and underfloor heating while streaming a movie on the Smart TV. The two bedrooms, a double and a twin, share a sleek bathroom with a walk-in shower. On warm days you can head outside and enjoy some fresh Norfolk air on the raised deck, from which there are beautiful views over the shared grounds and scenic countryside.

The chalet is located in the lovely village of Weybourne, where you’ll find a shop, tearoom and welcoming pub, and is less than half a mile from its long, uncrowded beach. You can also find secluded beaches at Sheringham and Salthouse, both 3 miles, while the bustling seaside town of Cromer is just 7 miles – eat in one of the many dog-friendly pubs and cafes and walk your meal off with a stroll along the famous Victorian pier. From Weybourne, you can hop onto a steam train to either Sheringham or Holt (well-behaved hounds allowed), while nearby stately homes and estates offer plenty of places to walk with furry friends – you’re all welcome at Sheringham Park, Holt Country Park, the Felbrigg Estate and the Blickling Estate, each within a 14-mile radius.

The perfect place for 2 adults and a Labrador (definitely not big enough for 4 adults though). Very welcoming and comfy, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely decking area shaded by trees - we could sit out comfortably even though it was really hot. Such a peaceful location yet only a 5 minute walk to the excellent pub, shop/coffee shop Read moreand bus stop and a15 minute walk to the sea. Highly recommended. Hide

The cottage though compact has every facility. It was just right for two visitors but I imagine a group of four people would be very much on top of each other.

The cottage is immaculate and very well equipped. There is parking right next to the cottage. Just a short walk to the village and local pub. The cottage did feel a bit dark as it is surrounded by trees.

I am sure this property would be nice in a warm summer but I stayed at the end of September and found it cold and a bit damp with electric radiators which were hard to programme. It is nicely finished as a holiday let but it was very small especially as advertised for four people - I would say 2 adults maximum as there is very little storage spaceRead more for all your holiday stuff. It is situated under trees which made it a bit dark but in the summer it must get the afternoon sun on the decking. Weybourne is a nice location and it was within walking distance of the local pub, cafe and coast. Hide

Some lovely walks around Weybourne and very good meals at The Ship Inn and the local cafe.the cottage is only small and the storage space not great, but it was warm and everything was as it should be.
