Enjoy a romantic getaway to this beautiful holiday home. In a rustic cottage in the most western part of Wales, you’ll have the opportunity to explore beaches, see incredible wildlife and enjoy the peace of the countryside. Ideal for a couple and their dog, and possibly one child, this could be a great place to go when you’re expecting and want a quiet trip to enjoy the company of those who mean the most to you.
Start the day on a charming patio, perfect for coffee or breakfast in the morning sun. Watch your little one play on the lawn and playset, then enjoy a soothing soak in this cottage’s wonderfully deep bath before heading out for the day with your canine companion. When you return, there’s a cosy living room which joins a kitchen and dining room in neutral colours to make cooking communal without anyone getting under your feet. End the day in a light bedroom, filled with different shades of wood and exposed brick.
This cottage is the perfect base for anyone who wants to explore beautiful Broad Haven, which is 5.5 miles away, whilst still appreciating the familiar chain businesses found around Haverfordwest. Whilst dogs aren’t allowed on famous Skomer Island because of the delicate ecosystem, there are plenty of dog-friendly beaches on the mainland and two-thirds of Broad Haven Beach allows dogs year-round. Plus, you may be able to spot dolphins! When you’re covered in sand and have seen numerous sea critters in nearby rock pools, head back into the centre of Broad Haven for plenty of pubs serving great food for people and fresh water for tired dogs. Finish your holiday by trying out some water sports in the bay as your partner and dog watch (and laugh) from the shore.
