You’ll find plenty to do nearby, whether that’s going for a quiet pint in the pub 2.5 miles away or challenging yourself to a round at one of the many golf courses nearby, such as Thonock Park (11.5 miles). Sniff out the National Trust site at Clumber Park (11.5 miles), which is hugely welcoming to dogs after a breed of spaniel was developed there. Its 3,800 acres of parkland are wonderful for exploring with your furry friends, before treating yourself to tea and cake in the dog-friendly cafe.
