Escape to the North York Moors National Park with this outstanding Grade II-listed barn conversion as your base. Perfect for a family of four and two canine companions, this charming retreat is set on a working cattle and racehorse farm and offers a wide range of walking trails from its doorstep.

Stepping inside this lovely cottage, guests will find original features such as exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings to welcome you into the delightful living space. Underfloor heating throughout means toes and paws will be kept warm all year-round. Cook up a storm in the fabulous country-style kitchen that has everything you need, before gathering around the welcoming dining space under the warm lights of the chandelier above. Sit around the wood burner in the spacious lounge and let sleeping dogs lie as you watch a movie on the Smart TV. When you are ready for some much-needed sleep, head upstairs to find two attractive bedrooms - a super-king-size and a twin bedroom. Guests can almost make use of the airy shower room and WC, as well as a separate WC. Head outside to find a private patio garden that boasts outside dining facilities so you can eat under the morning sun or nighttime sky.

If meandering the streets of bustling market towns is more your thing, then visit Helmsley (ten miles) which offers a wide range of pubs and eateries that welcome dogs. Excellent cottage, boot room entrance ideal, then you walk into the lounge and the kitchen which can only be described as providing the wow factor. Underfloor heating was brilliant. Didn't use the log burner but wood for one use was provided and it would look fantastic. The second shower room and toilet is down stairs. This was locked, unavailable.Read more If you need this make sure you ask for it, we didn't need it so didn't bother. Would definitely recommend and we intend coming back next year. Hide
