Beautiful cottage in a beautiful, quiet location. Cottage was well equiped and very cosy rooms made a home from home feel. Veronica is a great hostess and we felt a very friendly atmosphere straight away. Lots of beautiful places to visit in the area. The only thing was that nearest food shop is in Helmsley, about 15-20 min drive, so we made sure wRead moree plan our daily food shopping. Overall, we had a fantastic time and surely we'll be back. We had a lovely stay. The cottage is spacious, warm, has plenty of hot water and is really well equipped. Veronica was very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Easy to find and suited us well.

We booked The Witches Cottage late on the Tuesday evening and we arrived the Wednesday afternoon. We met Veronica on arrival who welcomed us to the cottage, and she let us know she was jyst next door if we needed anything at all. We wanted somewhere to relax and enjoy. That's exactly what the Cottage gave us, what a fabulous place to stay. With itsRead more luxurious decor and comfort, it was the perfect location and close to Helmsley. Everything about the cottage was perfect for our 4 day break. Hide
