This charming holiday cottage deep in the West Yorkshire countryside offers a peaceful romantic retreat for you and your beloved pet. It’s located down a quiet lane next to the owners’ working farm, with an abundance of doggie-pleasing walking opportunities right from your front door and lovely historical villages to visit nearby, including Saltaire (4 miles) and Hawarth (6 miles). With one king-size bedroom, it would suit a solo traveller or a couple, with one furry companion welcome to come and join in the fun.

This cosy property has a cosy lounge/diner that’s beautifully decorated for a homely atmosphere. Following busy days exploring, settle down to a home-cooked meal prepared in the sweet kitchen and light up the wood burner to keep everyone cosy. Traditional touches such as dark wood ceiling beams and mullion windows contribute to its period-style interior. The decor throughout creates a true sense of grandeur; think elegant curtains, Chesterfield-style sofas and upstairs in the bedroom, an opulent four-poster bed! At the front of the house, a pretty courtyard garden awaits, equipped with a bistro table and chairs for unwinding in the fresh air with your partner and pet.

It’s a pleasant walk to the dog-friendly pub 0.5 miles away, and you’ll find plenty of shops in the nearby village of Harden (1 mile). Attractions close by that you can enjoy with your pet include the Goit Stock Waterfall (4 miles) and walks around the impressive Hewenden Viaduct (2.5 miles). For extended hikes that’ll soon set her tail wagging, the majestic Yorkshire Dales National Park is just 11 miles to the north.

Great little cottage, very peaceful and quiet location, pub and amenities close enough. Loved the huge bedroom and the comfiest bed possible, cosy lounge area nice spacious table to eat from

We had a wonderful time in a peaceful and tranquil setting accommodation was excellent owners were very friendly and welcoming. An exceptional location we will definitely return for another restful and relaxing holiday.

Well equipped , warm , comfortable cottage with everything that we needed. Spacious and luxurious bedroom and fabulous log burner with generous supply of logs. Parking nearby was great. Owners were welcoming and nearby if help is needed.
