Surrounded by five acres of grounds where you can exercise your pup in peace and tranquillity, this countryside cottage provides the perfect bolthole for man and dog alike. Step inside to find cosy interiors, traditionally appointed, and plenty of space for two guests and one dog to call their own. Let your dog have its day as you explore the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon coastline within effortless reach, always looking forward to returning home as night draws in and the chance to curl up together by the warmth of the wood burner.
Step into the lounge to find plush seating and a Smart TV positioned around the working wood burner. This is a fantastic spot for rest and relaxation at the end of each day, leaving Fido to curl up and dream of chasing cats as you put your feet up with a favourite film on. You’ll also find a compact kitchen and dining table for two in this handy open-plan space. Leave your dog snuggled up down here as you venture up to bed, discovering both a double bedroom and an en-suite bathroom on the first floor. Heading back downstairs, step outside to soak up the sunshine on your private patio space, although do be sure to keep an eye on any escape-prone pups as this area is not enclosed.
Let your pup lead the way as you explore the local area, following a waterfront walk along the River Mole (less than 0.5 miles), heading into the depths of the Exmoor National Park (7 miles) or spending time on the coast (21.5 miles). Ramble along the South West Coast Path to reach the dog-friendly beaches of Heddon’s Mouth (22 miles) and Lynmouth Beach (24 miles). The latter is a fantastic seaside village with plenty of pet-friendly pursuits including the traditional funicular railway.
