Close to home explore the parkland of Dunster Castle and Watermill (2 miles) and follow a pretty route along the River Avil from here. Your nearest dog-friendly beach, Dunster Beach (2 miles), presents plenty of space for games of fetch and splashing in the sea with your beach-ready bowow. From here you can also embark on a walk along the 25-mile-wide West Somerset Coastal Path, a fantastic route for easily taking in the area’s dramatic seascapes.
