The cottage is set along the north-western edge of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its beautiful heather moors and peatlands. Heading west, you can visit the thriving town of Penrith (10.5 miles) before diving into the Lake District, with dog-friendly attractions including Lowther Castle and Gardens, Aira Force Waterfall and Lake Ullswater, all within 22 miles.
