Sit back and relax either in the private hot tub or by the warming wood burner and take in the tranquil peaceful surroundings at this beautiful vineyard retreat.
Shepherds’ huts are more popular than ever, and when you include the addition of a private hot tub on a decked area, a couple and their dogs will be over the moon when staying here. Situated in an 80-acre vineyard with sweeping panoramic country views, a couple have a chance of the perfect romantic getaway.
Inside the hut, guests will find everything they need for a comfortable stay despite the bijou size. There’s a kitchen space that allows guests to cater for themselves easily while on holiday. The kitchen also has a dining table for mealtimes, while the wood burner in the living area is where couples and their dogs will undoubtedly end up relaxing after a long day’s walking or wine tasting. The double bed may be compact but it’s also perfect for relaxing, while there is also an en-suite shower room with WC for a luxurious glamping-esque trip. Outside, the secluded decking area adds even more luxury to the holiday home. The private wood-fired hot tub and outdoor seating benefit from fabulous views across the vineyard and surrounding woods and farmland.
While many guests may find it hard to leave the wine estate itself, there is plenty to do further afield. There are several country trails right from the hut’s doorstep, with many dog-friendly pubs in and around the wider South Downs National Park. Dogs will always have their tails wagging here as locals greet them with a smile and a treat. One walk that guests love in particular is in nearby Selborne (4.5 miles away) with a famous zig-zag pathway.
