This cosy bolthole for two set in the beautiful Welsh countryside is a perfect escape to connect with nature and explore the spectacular coastline.
This charming property, surrounded by fields, mountains and forests just 7.5 miles from Lampeter, is the perfect hideaway for two – and the loyal hounds, of course! Sleeping you both in a tranquil king-size bed with space for up to two pups to come along, this little cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break. Head to the 4.5-acre field that’s ideal for giving your dogs a run-around, or enjoy the outdoors around the fire pit and BBQ that’s shared with the neighbouring properties.
As you step into the holiday home, you’re greeted by a spacious and bright open-plan living area. Contemporary appliances blended with traditional-style kitchen units make it a pleasure to cook up tasty meals, which can be eaten at the dining table, the pups begging for scraps at your feet. After dinner, get cosy on the sofa and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV, surrounded by exposed beams and pretty furnishings. When it’s time for bed, snuggle into the king-size bed that can be made into a 2’6” twin on request and drift off to sleep among the tranquil, neutral decor. In the morning, take an invigorating shower in the shower room before heading out to the enclosed front garden with your morning coffee while the dogs stretch their legs.
Head off for walkies along Cilborth Beach (19 miles) which is dog friendly all year round. If you walk north along the coast path, you’ll come across plenty of points to stop and enjoy the views. Book a dolphin spotting trip with New Quay Boat Trips (15 miles) and watch the pups’ ears flapping in the wind as they enjoy the thrill! Enjoy the grounds of Cardigan Castle (25 miles) and stop for a drink at the garden tables before heading home.
