Escape to the Cornish coast in this fabulous bolthole in Widemouth Bay. Sleeping four humans and one hound (from October to March), it’s the ideal retreat for small families and couples looking to explore this rugged stretch of coastline. The property is just 200 metres from the woof-friendly beach, and you’ll also be just 3 miles from the coastal town of Bude. Just outside the cottage is a large, shared lawn, providing ample space for your four-pawed chum to burn off some energy.
The stylish annexe has a bright, open-plan layout with contemporary decor and vibrant accessories. After a day at the beach with your four-pawed pal, relax in the lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can prepare a tasty meal in the kitchen area to share at the dining table, or stretch out on the sofa to watch the Smart TV with Rover curled at your feet. When it’s time to hit the hay, choose from the sleek double bedroom or the cosy twin. The family shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, sip a hot coffee on a crisp winter’s day on your private patio, whilst the pup has a little play on the shared lawn.
Widemouth Bay boasts a long, sandy beach, so you can enjoy relaxing strolls along the shoreline with the hound, or join the South West Coast Path to explore the neighbouring towns and villages dotted along the north coast. A 3-mile jaunt brings you to the popular seaside resort of Bude, with its tidal pool, dramatic clifftop paths, and beautiful canal. The town also has an excellent array of paw-friendly eateries. For peace and tranquillity, head to the picturesque village of Boscastle (12.5 miles) to explore the plethora of scenic tracks and trails through its surrounding countryside.
